Sharon Garage Doors started in 2003 when founder Mike Thompson, a veteran returning from service, saw a need in his community. Local homeowners were struggling to find reliable, honest garage door service. Too often, they'd wait days for appointments only to receive inflated quotes and subpar work.

Mike's vision was simple: bring the same discipline, integrity, and attention to detail he learned in the military to garage door service. Start with one truck, serve customers like family, and let quality work speak for itself.

That approach worked. Word spread through Sharon, then Torrington, then all of Litchfield County. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team of six master technicians, each personally trained by Mike to uphold the standards that built this company.

Today, we've served over 4,500 customers, maintained a 5-star Google rating, and achieved BBB A+ accreditation. But we haven't forgotten where we started. Every customer still gets the same personal attention Mike gave his first customer over 20 years ago.
